Terms of Service

Last updated: February 2026

The service

MotorFlag provides an independent desktop review of a used vehicle advert, the seller's photographs and claims, public MOT history and known risks for that model. You receive a written report containing key findings, questions for the seller, a personal viewing checklist and a non-guaranteed verdict of Proceed, Pause or Walk Away.

What the service is not

  • It is not a physical inspection of the vehicle.
  • It is not a mechanical diagnosis or road test.
  • It is not a valuation.
  • It is not a finance, theft, write-off or vehicle-history guarantee. You should complete an appropriate history check separately before buying.

Ordering and payment

Submit the vehicle first. We confirm whether there is enough evidence for a useful review and then email a secure payment link for the £19.99 fee. No contract exists until payment is made and we confirm we are proceeding.

Your responsibilities

  • Provide accurate details, including the correct registration and advert link.
  • Only send material you are entitled to share.
  • Make your own final decision about viewing, inspecting or buying the vehicle.

Turnaround and refunds

We aim for same-day delivery where possible and will confirm the expected timing before payment. If we cannot produce a useful report, we will say so before taking payment. If we take payment and then cannot deliver, we will refund you in full. Because the report is a digital service delivered promptly, you agree that your right to cancel ends once work has started at your request.

Liability

The report is opinion and information based on the evidence available at the time. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the fee paid. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
