MotorFlag is an independent used-vehicle advert and MOT review service operating in the United Kingdom. You can contact us at info@motorflag.co.uk.

Information we collect

• Your name, email address and, if you provide it, your mobile number.
• Vehicle details you submit: registration, advert link, make and model, asking price, seller type, seller claims and your concerns.
• Any photographs, screenshots or documents you upload.
• Basic technical information such as an anonymised record of your connection, used only to limit spam submissions.

How we use it

• To assess whether we can help and to produce your report.
• To contact you about your enquiry, payment link and completed report.
• To keep records of work carried out and to prevent misuse of the service.

We do not sell your information, and we do not receive commission from dealers or sellers.

Lawful basis

We process your information to take steps at your request before entering into a contract and to perform that contract, and on the basis of our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure and accurate.

Storage and retention

Submissions and uploads are stored securely with our hosting and database provider. We keep enquiry records for as long as needed to provide the service and to deal with any follow-up questions or disputes, then delete them.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@motorflag.co.uk and we will respond within one month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.

Cookies

The public MotorFlag website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. A secure session cookie is used only for our own private administration area.
